Ahoy Mates! 

 As the 2007-08 school year comes to an end, we would like to wish all parents and students a wonderful summer.  On that note ,we would also like to remind parents and students that all WWES library materials are due Monday, June  2, 2008.

            In June, each student will receive a Summer Reading Log.  Students who complete the summer reading program and return their completed reading log by September 10, 2008, will be invited to an Ice Cream Celebration. We hope you will take time to read with your child.  One of my favorite quotes  by Edmond Burke says "Reading without reflection is like eating without digesting."  I hope you will "digest" some good books with your child this summer! 

WWES Checkout Policy: 

Kindergarten students:    1 book / 1 week

First grade students:  2 book / l week

Students in Grades 2-5:  2 books / 2 weeks
